As Principal Owner and Partner, Shawn provides leadership across the entire territory while staying closely connected with our dealers. We are currently in the process of hiring a Territory Manager who will take on North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. This addition will expand our coverage and allow us to serve our dealer partners with even greater focus.
Paul, Maria, and Nuris keep us flexible and engaged in direct interaction with our dealer partners. It’s truly a dream team!

Shawn Simpson

Shawn brings 35 years of 12-volt industry experience, from retail and distribution to manufacturing and global sales. Early success at Mobile One Auto Sound and A-1 Car Stereo led to representing top brands in the industry.
Shawn quickly became known for driving sales and building relationships. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Wet Sounds, his strategies made the company a leader in marine audio.
Later, at Momentum Marketing, he earned multiple Rep of the Year awards and built deep relationships in the territory. Prior to founding Crossover Marketing Southeast in 2024, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sundown Audio.
A dedicated father and competitive marksman, Shawn is always laser focused on what’s ahead.

Paul Pilat
Principal Owner
Paul brings his extraordinary process-oriented mindset along with an extensive 40+ year career that spans the technology and consumer electronics market sectors to the company. His broad set of roles and responsibilities in Consume Electronics included business development, product marketing, design, sales and marketing and sales training with such notable companies as Acoustic Research, Monster Cable, Day Sequerra, MTI and RCA.
Beyond the CE industry Paul worked 24 years at Intel in various technology sectors, including Intel Labs where he focused on analyzing emerging technologies and developing successful strategic partner diffusion paths that accelerated industry adoption.
Paul was nominated into ATAS (Academy of Television Arts and Sciences) for his work in the formation of Emmy Awards recognizing excellence in interactive Media categories. In 2023 he founded the Crossover Marketing Group with Rob Sutton.
Maria Alejandra
Team Lead, Customer Service
Fully bilingual in Spanish and English and currently learning Japanese, Maria is the Customer Service Lead and main point of contact for Crossover Marketing.
She manages dealer interactions and serves as a bridge between dealer partners and manufacturer partners, ensuring clear communication.
Maria is known for her exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Her warm, approachable personality creates a personal touch.
Her strong communication and deep understanding of dealer needs set a high standard for service. Maria’s proactive approach and organizational skills streamline processes, resolve issues efficiently, and foster lasting relationships, making her an invaluable asset to the Crossover Marketing team.
Nuris Trejos
Customer Service
Nuris speaks both Spanish and English fluently and is currently learning Portuguese. She has a degree in Accounting and has managed all parts of a retail store, giving her the ability to relate to our dealers.
Armed with a steady approach and attention to detail, she can be counted on to handle anything that comes her way, whether it’s a routine responsibility or something more complex.
Her friendly nature helps her connect easily with others, and her positive attitude brings out the best in those around her. Nuris’s practical problem-solving skills and reliability make her a valued part of the team.
With her mix of experience, attention to detail, and friendly attitude, she’s always up for a new challenge and makes our team stronger.
